  Habitat Grassy places, woodland, heathland and coastal cliffs. Foodplant Unknown in the wild, but will accept grasses in captivity. Lifestage data Overwinters as a larva. Larva August-Spring, feeding inside the stem. Pupates in a fragile cocoon amongst the roots of the foodplant. |
